Marty Stuart & Gospel Bluegrass All-Stars July 10th & 11th Marty Stuart, one of country music’s top talents with six top-ten hits, one platinum and five gold albums, and four Grammy Awards headlines a show unlike any other. Joining Stuart will be a Bluegrass cast that will make any fan of the Genre start tapping their foot month early with anticipation.
Guests include:
Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver who regularly headline major gospel and bluegrass festivals throughout the United States, including their own festival in Denton, NC. They have toured extensively throughout Canada, Europe, and the British Isles, and their television appearances include ABC-TV’ Nightline, the Nashville Network, and the Americana Network. They have performed at the National Quartet Convention, and they appear in the Bill Gaither video, “I’ll Meet You On The Mountain”.
For Jeff and Sheri Easter, gospel bluegrass music is genetically programmed into their DNA. As members of acclaimed musical families—Jeff’s father is one of the Easter Brothers and Sheri’s mother is a member of The Lewis Family—they grew up surrounded by the sound of people jamming and praising God through their musical gifts., the Lewis Family and the Easter Brothers who will also be on stage. Jeff & Sheri have been nominated for numerous Dove Awards and won three. They’ve also received a Grammy nomination, and Sheri has been named the Singing News Favorite Alto ten times and the Singing News Female Vocalist four times.
Set Apart will round out the evening's bill with sounds straight from the Smokey Mountains of Tennesee. This groups grew up with Bluegrass harmonies in their ear and instruments on their lap, a real musical treat.
The Evening will be a high energy, fast-pickin' jubilee of great bluegrass music. And with all these artists on the stage at the same time, you're guaranteed to hear something you've never heard before.

Shipshewana
Bluegrass Festival July 10th & 11th Shipshewana Bluegrass Festival -  This as a townwide event.  There will be lots going on for the Bluegrass enthusiast.  Free music around the Blue Gate all day, Thursday – Saturday.  Plus several vendors selling their wares.  In town the Blue Gate Theater is working with other stores and local bluegrass groups to coordinate jam sessions, these will take place on Friday and Saturday several places around town (Watch the website for more info on how to get in on the action).  Then in the evening the Blue Gate has put together probably the biggest concert Shipshewana has ever seen featuring Country/Bluegrass Legend Marty Stuart, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Jeff & Sheri Easter, The Easter Brothers, The Lewis Family and Set Apart.  This concert will take place at the Shipshewana Town Center.  Want to get involved?
